Many times I look at the dog and wonder, what is she really thinking? Does she hate it when I pick here up and give her kisses, and if so, why does she want in my lap all the time?

I mean, she follows me around the house, wanting me to pick her up, and yet she squirms if I giver her a kiss.

Getting older

Sunday I was talking to some friends… and one was turning 44 on that day, so I wished them “Happy Birthday”. Then I found out that another one was having a birthday in a month, and then in another month the last was going to have a birthday as well, and they were all going to be 44. Well as I just turned 55, I felt pretty old.

many times, we do not do something… that we wish to do… perhaps it is out of sense, of not being good enough…

and that may be true… for what we see in our minds eye are things that are perfect and complete, forgetting that in order to create art of any type, we must practice and train our hands and fingers, so that what we create, is close to what we see in our mind.

so we need to learn to let our own judgments go and create anyway.

my boss, tends to… well he is a drama queen…

he will spend an hour on a design, (designing in a one program) getting the outline around a letter just so, then when he send it to the printer (which uses a different program, and he doesn’t want to learn the different program)

the different program then translate the border different from that which he decided looks great, so he spend more time trying to get the outline just so, then he decides the color is wrong, spend another hours picking the the color that he likes, then, he will say ….

its not that crucial, and then tell us to print it the way it is…

who knows, I want to, I have things on my mind, so I ‘m hoping that I can pick up this habit again.

It was fun while I did it, so I will try again.

Well that was a bit of circular bull shit… Yesterday was my 55th birthday. and if I tell the truth it was a bit boring.

I was really hoping for a party… you know the old double nickel thing….

and last night was the first dream that I have had of you where we were not fighting or at odds with each other. We treated each other like we were friends.

When I woke up and realized that was the first dream where we were our old selves, I cried a bit.

For too long the dreams of you have been full of petty snipes at each other. Yes I was really hurt when our relationship ended, and we were both so angry that we said hurt full things, and the times we talked, our anger got in the way.

Though I still have not let go of every thing, I’m working on it and I wish you well.
